Three more candidates filed their paperwork with the Christian County Clerk’s Office Wednesday to run for seats on Hopkinsville City Council.
Democrat Ardell Owens filed to run for the Ward 9 seat currently held by Patricia Waddell-Bell.
Democrat Twyla Dillard-Parris filed for Ward 8, the seat currently held by Tom Johnson.
Democrat Kenneth Hatzakorzian filed for the Ward 6 seat, currently held by Wendell Lynch.
The clerk’s office also reported Wednesday that Republican incumbent candidate Amy Craig had officially filed her paperwork on December 27 seeking another term to represent Ward 5.
As of right now, the clerk’s office reports they have a Democrat Primary in Ward 6 and Ward 9.
The filing deadline for Hopkinsville City Council is Friday afternoon at 4:00.
