A man that escaped work-release from the Christian County Detention Center on January 10th was located in Smiths Grove Friday morning.
Kentucky State Police say 38-year-old Wayne Weeks of Mt. Olivet escaped while on work release at the Senior Citizen’s Center in Hopkinsville around 10 pm on January 10th.
Weeks was arrested at a gas station in Smiths Grove after a report of a suspicious person. He was lodged in the Warren County Detention Center.
Weeks was being held in the Christian County Jail on two counts of bail jumping, possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and receiving stolen property under $10,000.
