A traffic stop for speeding led to drug charges on Pennyrile Parkway Saturday.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say 26-year-old John Gardner Jr. of Nashville was stopped around the Lovers Lane exit for speeding and deputies could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Deputies reportedly found multiple bags of marijuana some in a hidden compartment along with a scale and cash inside the vehicle.
Gardner was charged with trafficking marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and several traffic violations.
