Atmos Energy Speaks On 811 Call Before You Dig Laws

Officials with Atmos Energy are reminding residents, as well as city and county employees, about the importance of Kentucky’s 811 laws.

Anthony Stallins with Atmos Energy says that no matter what type of digging you do it’s considered excavation and you are required to call 811.

Stallins, who is a Princeton native, spoke with the News Edge Tuesday at a safety training class held for all city and county employees at the Princeton Tourism Center.

Those on hand also heard a presentation by Lyon County Sheriff and former Kentucky State Trooper Brent White concerning safety on the job.
