A rumor that spread over the weekend that there were patients tested positive for Coronavirus at Baptist Health Madisonville is not true.
According to a Sunday afternoon social media post, Baptist Health officials say they were made aware of the misinformation being spread throughout the community. They add their emergency department is not under quarantine for the Coronavirus and there are no patients that have tested positive for the Coronavirus that is currently the topic in international news media.
The hospital confirmed they do have screening protocols in place that help assess the risk levels of their patients for Coronavirus and many other conditions.
