UPATE- Princeton Street Closed Due To Wreck Reopens

A street that was closed in downtown Princeton after an early morning crash Thursday has reopened.

Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison states that officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on North Jefferson Street just after three. He adds that investigation revealed that the driver, 48-year-old Jonathan R. Ketchey of Princeton, was operating a 2002 Chrysler on North Jefferson Street when, for unknown reasons, he struck a light pole across from Planters Bank.

Assistant Chief Allison notes that the street in this area was closed from about 3:30 AM until just after noon to allow for crews with AT&T to set a new pole.

No injures have been reported with this accident.
