Four People Charged In Hopkinsville Theft Of Over $200,000 Worth Of Items

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department arrested four people Wednesday in connection to a theft at General Steel in Hopkinsville after getting a tip that the stolen items were at a home on Rawlings Road in Woodlawn, Tennessee.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies say they received a tip from the Hopkinsville Police Department that two stolen commercial work trucks, an enclosed trailer, and an ATV were located at the home.

During the investigation deputies reportedly found guns and meth in the home.

41-year-old Derek Summers of Clarksville along with 38-year-old Sidney Faulkner, 36-year-old Michael Hill, and 20-year-old Brianna Klein all of Hopkinsville were charged with felony theft.

Summers was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm, possessing a firearm during the commission or attempt to commit a dangerous felony, and drug possession for resale.

Summer allegedly has an extensive criminal history including numerous drug offenses and accessory after the fact in connection to two homicides.
