The 2019-2020 Cadiz/Trigg County Chamber Leadership class is working on a project to build a new stage in downtown Cadiz but is needing community support to make it a reality.
Class member Lucy Oliver Kyler says they are currently hosting a fundraiser to sell engraved bricks.
She adds they are looking for a major contributor that would have naming rights for the stage.
Class member Casey Parrent adds the new stage is needed.
Parrent notes bids for the project are due by April 3, so they will have a better estimate of the full cost of phase one.
Oliver says they would like to see the new stage used more.
The new stage could help revitalize downtown Cadiz.
A silver sponsor brick is 4″ by 8″ and cost $100, with an 8″ by 8″ gold sponsor brick costing $200. For more information about the project or to purchase bricks, call Parrent at (270) 522-8244.
