Not only are the closures due to the coronavirus affecting people, but it’s also affecting the possibility of dogs and cats at the Christian County Animal Shelter finding a home.
Director Irene Grace announced on Facebook Monday the shelter is closed to the public until further notice for the safety of their employees.
She said staff will be coming to work to take care of the animals at the shelter, currently.
Grace added if anyone has any suggestions, please let them know.
She stated they will let the public know of any other changes as well as when the decision is made to reopen.
