To protect public health and slow the spread of the coronavirus another business in Hopkinsville has announced it’s closed through the end of this month.

Hopkinsville Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Brooke Jung announced Tuesday they closed the door to the Visitors Center at the end of business Tuesday and will reopen Monday, March 30, pending recommendations from local, state and federal entities.

While the Visitors Center will be temporarily closed to the public, Jung says they are encouraging residents follow updates on social media. She adds the digital team will be focusing on ways residents can support local businesses in creative ways.

Jung says it is imperative for residents to show their support of businesses in Hopkinsville and Christian County. She adds you can purchase a gift card, order take out, sign up for a class or lesson to be used at a later date. She points out the many unique local businesses that make the city and county special will thank you.
