Christian County Public Schools is feeding more than 2,000 children each day as part of the meal delivery program that began this week after schools were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school district’s Food Service Director Penny Holt says the number of students being fed is increasing daily.

She adds the process includes two meals each day that can be picked up at mobile feeding sites.

According to Holt, over 100 people including employees, bus drivers, and volunteers are helping with the process.
