Trigg County Schools will remain closed an additional week due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
School Superintendent Bill Thorpe made the announcement Friday afternoon follow a conference call with Governor Andy Beshear.
Thorpe reminds parents and students the first week of Nontraditional Instructional work can be turned in beginning Monday, March 23.
The decision means students will return to school Monday, April 20, 2020. Thorpe says additional NTI lessons will be distributed to all students in the district. The school breakfast and lunch program will continue through the closure.
