At least two Christian County manufacturing facilities have slowed or shut down production lines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
South West Kentucky EDC Director Carter Hendricks confirmed to the News Edge that he knows of disruptions at manufacturing facilities. Hendricks adds he thinks more could curtail production in the coming days. He adds any related to the Ford, General Motors, and Fiat-Chrysler assembly plant closures will likely be impacted.
Sources tell the News Edge that Metalsa has stopped production on some of their lines as the result of COVID-19. Sources also tell the News Edge that TGASK has also been impacted.
