Hopkinsville Transit is implementing recommended social distancing guidelines on its buses beginning Wednesday due to COVID-19 concerns.
Pennyrile Allied Community Services management officials announced Monday all Hopkinsville Transit buses will be limited to no more than six passengers riding in designated seats. Riders will also need to use exact change that will be deposited in a designated receptacle to limit contact with drivers. In addition, officials say the sale of bus passes will be suspended on Wednesday.
Officials add a determination will be made at a later date about when normal operations may resume.
