Two Charged With Robbery & Drug Trafficking In Hopkinsville

Two men were charged with robbery after they held a woman in a bedroom for two hours forcing her to transfer money on Moores Drive Tuesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Darius Johnson of Oak Grove and 22-year-old Justice Wofford of Clarksville along with 25-year-old Spencer Clark of Hopkinsville entered the Moores Drive home armed with guns and a knife and threatened a woman inside.

The men reportedly held a knife to the woman’s stomach and made her go into the bedroom where she was forced to stay for two hours and transfer money into one of their accounts.

During the investigation police allegedly found 178 grams of a white powdery substance along with cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy pills inside the bedroom.

Five children under the age of seven were reportedly in the residence and able to tell police there was cocaine in the bedroom.

All three men are charged with possession of hallucinogens, cocaine, and marijuana along with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance drug unspecified.

Johnson and Wofford were also charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment, and kidnapping.
