The Trigg County Emergency Services Director says residents should treat the COVID-19 pandemic as a snow day from school and stay at home as much as possible.
David Bryant says there are safeguards in place to keep the virus from spreading, but they only work if people abide by the regulations

Bryant says he sees instances every day where the community comes together to help keep things running business as usual. One such instance occurred at Trigg County Hospital.

Bryant added two restaurants donated some of their food items to the Trigg County Helping Hands Food Bank, who in turn, handed out meals throughout the community. He says anyone can be a good neighbor when times are hard.

Bryant says the local and county governments continue to operate even though face to face contact has been limited in most instances.
