Lyon County Judge-Executive Wade White announced late Tuesday night the county has its second positive coronavirus case.
Judge White said in a post on social media the 97-year old female, a resident of River’s Bend Nursing Home was transported to the hospital with symptoms on March 29.
According to Judge White, he has been working with the health department and other county agencies, who are investigating those who may have been in contact with the patient.
He has asked for everyone to pray for the 97-year old female, her family, the residents, and workers.
In addition, Judge White urged residents to continue to practice safe distancing to slow the spread of the virus.
