Two More COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Caldwell County

Caldwell County has announced two new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases within the county.

In a post on social media Princeton Mayor Kota Young stated that one is a 20-year-old female while the other is a 64-year-old male, who are both currently self-quarantined in their homes. He added that the Pennyrile health department is currently conducting contact tracing for these patients, and reaching out to those they may have come in to contact with.

The announcement of additional cases now brings the county total to five, the first three of which were reported last week.

Also in the post Mayor Young extended his thoughts and prayers to all of the individuals currently confirmed, as well as their families during this time and encouraged residents to continue to practice social distancing and proper hand and respiratory hygiene.

He reminded the community that the better and more thorough the community’s response to this virus is, the sooner we can all return to some sense of normalcy.
