Thanks to a partnership with Cayce Mill Supply, the beloved clock tower in downtown Hopkinsville will be lit green to honor and remember lives lost in Kentucky during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alissa Keller, executive director of the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County tells the News Edge they wanted to participate in Governor Andy Beshear’s initiative.
Kim Ferguson with Cayce Mill Supply says the light was installed Monday afternoon and will be turned on every time the governor asks everyone across the state to do so.
Additionally, Ferguson adds they have green light bulbs for sale.
The cost per bulb is $3.74 with Ferguson saying they are open, as they are considered an essential business.
Cayce Mill Supply is located at 2225 Pembroke Road in Hopkinsville.
