The Todd County Health Department issued a Public Health Order Tuesday limiting the number of people inside public-facing businesses. Jen Harris, director at the health department, said they deemed the Order necessary to control crowds in these businesses, allowed to remain open, to protect the public’s health during the COVID- pandemic.

The Order states customers must be limited to one shopper per family or group, with the exception of minors when no other option of childcare is available and disabled and elderly who need help shopping.

Additionally, the Order states public-facing businesses with aisles must utilize a one-way traffic flow.

The Order also states it is in effect until further notice, and public-facing businesses who do not practice appropriate crowd control procedures will be issued a “cease and desist” order.
