Police have released more information about a high-speed pursuit that started in Hopkins County and ended on Dawson Springs Road in Christian County Thursday night.
Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop a car driven by 20-year-old Tyler Bivins of Bowling Green in Earlington for reckless driving and he fled at a high rate of speed traveling into Crofton then getting onto Kentucky 800.
Bivins turned into a field and was arrested when his car became stuck in the mud near Dawson Springs Road.
Bivins is charged with first and second-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, DUI, resisting arrest, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
