Caldwell County has reported another positive case of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Judge/Executive Larry Curling announced Monday afternoon that the new case involves a 62-year-old male who is currently quarantined at home. He adds this now brings Caldwell County’s total of COVID-19 cases to nine.
Judge Curling notes that the Pennyrile District Health Department is conducting a contact investigation for those who may have come into contact with the individual.
Judge Curling and other county and city officials are continuing to offer their thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery to those affected by the virus. They are also urging community members to continue to observe social distancing guidelines and self-isolation recommendations coming from state leaders and medical professionals.
