Hopkinsville Man Charged With Burglary And Threatening A Neighbor With A Knife

A Hopkinsville man was charged with wanton endangerment and burglary after he reportedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and threatened her neighbor with a knife on Foxfield Road Wednesday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 49-year-old Ricky Bradshaw was found hiding under an SUV in the roadway after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house.

Bradshaw had reportedly knocked on the door multiple times and when she would not let him in then he broke into the home through a window.

His ex-girlfriend allegedly fled the home and a neighbor attempted to stop Bradshaw when he grabbed a knife and begin waving it around in the air while the neighbor was approaching him.

The neighbor was reportedly able to stop Bradshaw by grabbing his shirt and pulling him to the ground damaging a porch pillar.

A TV was also damaged in the burglary. Bradshaw was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree burglary, public intoxication, and tampering with physical evidence.
