A Louisville man was charged after he reportedly broke into a Todd County business and assaulted a police officer Tuesday morning.
Guthrie Police say 63-year-old Ray Farmer was found exiting the Favorite Lotto on Dixie Beeline Highway with a backpack full of stolen items including money, checks, access cards, and electronic equipment after police found the front door broken.
He reportedly ignored commands from officers and resisted arrest even hitting an officer with his arm. He was tased twice and he removed the prongs and continue to resist.
Farmer is charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of burglary tools, and assault of a police officer.
