The Christian County COVID-19 case count is now up to 111 after the county health department reported an additional case Sunday, May 24.
The new case reported Sunday is a pediatric case, which is a person between the ages of birth to 21. That brings the Christian County active pediatric case count to five. There are currently 12 young adult males with active cases, 2 older adults, and no elderly cases. There are currently 19 active cases.
Of the cases in Christian County, 89 have been white, 21 have been black, with one person of Asian descent confirmed to to have a case.
The health department also reports 89 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Christian County.
