A Hopkinsville man was charged with DUI after a wreck on South Main Street Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to a wreck around 8 am and found 49-year-old Gerald Rothenburger who was unsteady on his feet.
Rothenburger was reportedly northbound on South Main Street when he hit a vehicle in front of him that was stopped in traffic.
He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and told police that he had 12 beers yesterday.
Rothenburger was arrested and charged with DUI third offense. No one was injured in the crash.
