Three New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Monday In Todd County

The Todd County Health Department reported three new positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the county Monday.

Public Health Director Jen Harris reported a healthy adult not connected to any previous coronavirus cases was the 29th case. She said the adult was isolated at home with no symptoms and had multiple contacts, mainly family members who the health department was in the process of notifying.

Harris said a healthy adult, who is not connected with any of the other cases, also tested positive and is the county’s 30th COVID-19 case. She said the adult is isolated at home with no symptoms and was in contact with multiple people who have been notified to and advised to quarantine for 14-days.

According to Harris, a healthy minor also tested positive Monday and is the county’s 31st coronavirus case since the outbreak began in March. She reported the minor, who was already in quarantine, is isolated at home with mild symptoms. She added the minor was already in quarantine and began isolation Monday and will be released in 14-days. She said there were no additional contacts for this case.

Of the 31 cases confirmed in Todd County, Harris reports 24 have recovered.
