The Christian County Public School system has announced a new Teacher Recruiter.
John Rittenhouse with the district says Beverly Fort was appointed to the position. He adds Fort will identify, recruit, and retain teachers in the district while coordinating and assessing training opportunities for current teachers.
Fort returns to the district after serving as the Education Coordinator at Murray State University’s Hopkinsville campus. She previously taught at Morningside and Millbrooke Elementary Schools and was later a Curriculum Specialist at Millbrooke. She is a native of Hopkinsville and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree and Rank I in Administration from Murray State University.
