HCCPL Names New Imagination Library Coordinator

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library has a named new Dolly Parton Imagination Library Coordinator. Library officials announced Friday morning that Megan Marsh has been hired for the position and her first day will be July 30th.

Marsh is a graduate of Hopkinsville Community College. Officials say she has previous experience in event planning and fundraising and has recently been involved with United Way of the Pennyrile as a volunteer for the Foster Care and Youth Service Advisory Board.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a free book program for any child, birth to 5 years old, that provides an age-appropriate book that is delivered to the child’s home each month. The Christian County Imagination Library is entering its 8th year and averages about 3,400 children enrolled each month throughout Christian County.
