Cash Express in Princeton is hosting a blood drive this week for the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center (WKRBC) in order to help them fill a current blood shortage.
Branch Manager Sue Ann Loney says the WKRBC Bloodmobile will be in their parking lot at 311 Highway 62 West beside Taco Bell Friday.
She adds there are a few guidelines potential donors need to follow in order to donate.
Loney notes WKRBC staff will also be screening all donors who consent for coronavirus antibodies to find potential convalescent plasma donors to treat patients with COVID-19. All staff will also follow very strict guidelines to insure the safety of both themselves and the public.
