The Todd County Health Department reported two more positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed Thursday, one of which is hospitalized.
Director Jen Harris says the 79th case involves a healthy adult who is not connected to any of the other cases. The adult is isolated at home with no symptoms.
According to Harris, the 80th case is an adult with underlying health conditions who is hospitalized with moderate to severe symptoms and not connected to any other cases.
As of Thursday, there have been 80 confirmed cases in the county since the outbreak began earlier this year. Of that number, 24 are active and 56 have recovered.
