A Trenton man was found dead in his jail cell on a routine check in Whiteside County, Illinois Monday night.
Illinois State Police say 50-year-old Michael Kinison was found unresponsive in his cell around 7 p.m. after a routine cell check. He was given medical assistance by deputies and the fire department before he was pronounced dead.
The death is being investigated by the Illinois State Police.
