A positive case of COVID-19 was announced at Heritage Christian Academy in Hopkinsville Wednesday via a letter sent home to parents.
School Healthy at Work Officer Stephanie Boyd says a person tested positive for the virus, but no information has been released on if it was a student or teacher. Boyd adds there is nothing more important than the health and safety of their students, staff, and their families.
Boyd says if a person tests positive, they will self-quarantine for the time outlined by the Christian County Health Department. The letter went on to share how the school handles a positive case, the school’s COVID-19 guidelines, and provided some steps on how to stop the spread of the virus.
