Six new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Christian County Tuesday afternoon, as total cases near 900.
Christian County Health Department officials say there are 220 active cases in the county and a total of 894 cases since mid-March. Adults between the age of 22 and 59 are 121 of the active cases, with 59 of the cases either 21 or younger. There are 40 people who are considered an active case, who are over the age of 60.
Christian County has reported 660 recoveries and 14 deaths, including an 85-year old white, non-Hispanic male with underlying health conditions that was announced Monday.
