During his COVID-19 news briefing Thursday afternoon, Governor Andy Beshear gave an update on two officers that were shot Wednesday night in downtown Louisville as protests continue in the Breonna Taylor case.
Beshear said the two are expected to make a full recovery.
Beshear added the answer to violence can never be violence.
In COVID-19 cases, Beshear confirmed Thursday 745 new COVID-19 cases and 13 new deaths. The state’s death toll is now 1,137.
