The Christian County Clerk’s Office released some updated information Wednesday morning regarding early voting after some employees at the courthouse have tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials at the Clerk’s Office said early voting will only be at the new Christian County Sheriff’s Office, which starts Tuesday, October 13th. Officials say they hope to have early voting at both locations — the sheriff’s office and courthouse — the following week which is October 19th.
In addition, Christian County Fiscal Court announced Wednesday morning the October 12th special called meeting will be conducted by audio teleconference. County officials said this is due to the current state of emergency in the United States and the Commonwealth caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic and there will not be a primary physical location where the public may attend.
