The Christian County Health Department reported seventeen new active coronavirus cases Saturday afternoon, raising the total of active cases in the county to 248.
According to the health department’s report, five of the new positive COVID-19 cases are 21-years old and younger; ten are between the ages of 22 to 59; and, two are 60 to 84-years old.
To date, a total of 1,700 COVID cases have been confirmed in Christian County, which includes 1,424 recoveries and 28 deaths related to the virus.
