Two Men Charged With Trafficking Drugs In Christian County

A report of drug activity at Woodland Heights led to two Hopkinsville men being charged with trafficking drugs Friday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Charlie Fiscella says he stopped 42-year-old Alvin Powell and 51-year-old Curtis Killebrew during an investigation into possible drug activity and found that both men were not wearing seat belts and had active warrants.
During the traffic stop, the men were reportedly moving around a lot in the vehicle and Fiscella noticed a syringe cap as the men got out of the vehicle.
After a search of the vehicle, Fiscella says seven grams of meth along with a syringe containing a liquid that tested positive for meth were found.
Both men are charged with trafficking meth and failure to wear a seatbelt.
