Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville woman that was injured in a wreck on South Virginia Street Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 20-year-old Akim Abdul Berry of Hopkinsville was attempting to cross South Virginia Street from Morningside Drive and pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Japinica Hubbard.
The crash caused Berry’s vehicles to hit a street sign and a business sign on the side of the road.
Hubbard and her passenger were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 9 pm.
