A man was charged after he fled from law enforcement on Brant Drive Sunday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Hicks said he attempted to stop 27-year-old Devin Puckett Jr. for his headlight being out and he fled driving into a field. During the pursuit, a woman reportedly jumped from Puckett’s truck and he continued to flee in his vehicle before returning to the area where the woman was standing.
Hicks said Puckett’s truck got stuck on a logging road and he was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, giving an officer false identifying information, and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
Puckett also had warrants for failure to appear, fleeing or evading police, false making or embossing of credit cards, and bail jumping.
