The City of Hopkinsville has announced the deadline for small businesses to apply for the stimulus program has been extended until the close of business at the end of the month.
City officials said the applications are available on the city’s website with physical copies at the Municipal Center, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, and the Christian County Chamber of Commerce. To be eligible, the business must be headquartered in the city, been negatively impacted by the pandemic, paid all taxes owed to the city, have 25 or fewer full-time employees, and have a current Hopkinsville business license.
The city council approved $335,000 in federal CARES Act funding for grants to small businesses earlier this year.
