Trigg County had another double-digit day of COVID-19 cases Wednesday with five of the 12 cases reported involving people 60 and older.
The Pennyrile District Health Department has recorded 95 cases in Trigg County in the past week, with just under half in the 60 to 84 age group. Six cases in the last week have required hospitalizations.
Two of the cases reported Wednesday involve people 21 and under.
The increase in cases comes as two long term care facilities in the county are working through outbreaks in their facilities.
