Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell spoke on the floor of the Senate Friday to assure the American people that COVID-19 relief is in the works.
McConnell said his optimism for a productive outcome is growing as they are making significant headway through bipartisan discussions on forming another relief package.
The majority leader said he has been working with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in crafting legislation.
He added that the Senate will be working around the clock until an agreement is passed.
