Trigg County added 10 new COVID-19 cases to its total Tuesday with deaths linked to the coronavirus reported in Caldwell, Lyon, and Livingston counties.
Seven of Trigg County’s new cases involved people 22 to 59 years of age and none were under 21. All 10 people were reported to be isolated at home with their symptoms.
For December, Trigg County has passed the 200-case milestone with 208 COVID-19 cases compared to 162 in November.
Meanwhile, the Pennyrile District Health Department reported four deaths in Livingston County, two in Caldwell County, and one in Lyon County linked to the virus.
Lyon, Trigg, and Livingston counties are all reporting at least one outbreak at long term care facilities in their counties. Lyon County is also dealing with 29 active cases involving staff and inmates at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex near Fredonia.
