Trigg County Schools Superintendent Bill Thorpe says the second middle school student has tested positive for COVID-19.
Thorpe notified parents and staff Thursday afternoon about the positive student. That was the second positive middle school student in the past two days.
Thorpe the Pennyrile District Health Department will conduct tracing. He adds the building was cleaned and sanitized after the positive case was confirmed Thursday.
