A woman was killed in a fire on Grant Street Friday afternoon.
Todd County Emergency Director Daniel Smith says they were called to the apartment just after 3 pm for smoke coming from it.
After a search inside the building, 64-year-old Sinnie Merriweather was reportedly found deceased as a result of the fire.
No foul play is suspected in her death. Guthrie fire department was assisted by Trenton Fire Department, Todd County EMS, and the Todd County Coroner’s Office.
