A Hopkinsville man has been charged Wednesday in connection to shots being fired at two Hopkinsville Police officers on West 13th Street on January 1st.
Hopkinsville Police say just after midnight officers were on West 13th Street near Bethel Street for a report of shots fired when 25-year-old Anthony Dyson fired shots at the officers. The unmarked officer’s vehicle, along with a car on the side of the road, were hit.
27-year-old Tevin Poindexter and 29-year-old Devon Poindexter were also arrested Wednesday in connection to the shots being fired in the same area just before officers arrived.
They are all three charged with first-degree wanton endangerment. Dyson was also charged with two counts of attempted murder.
No one was injured in the shootings.
