The Christian County Health Department reported an increase of seven COVID-19 cases Saturday.
According to spokesperson Amanda Sweeney-Brunt, the new cases push the active case total to 291. The most cases remain in the 22 to 59 age group with 164 active cases. The birth to the 21-year-old category has 76 cases, with 45 cases reported in the 60 to 84 age group, and six cases in the 85 and older range.
Christian County has recorded 6,038 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began, with the county logging 79 COVID-related deaths.
