Kentucky Health Commissioner Dr. Steven Stack shared the CDC’s latest COVID-19 guidance for those who are fully vaccinated and have been for at least two weeks.
Dr. Stack said the guidance was released Monday and included being able to gather with other groups in small settings.
He added the guidance still requests people wear masks in public settings.
Dr. Stack said the current travel guidance remains in effect at this time.
In other news, Governor Andy Beshear said there had been 834,130 residents fully vaccinated.
Kentucky also reported an eighth declining week of new COVID-19 cases.
The state confirmed 331 new COVID-19 cases, the lowest amount of new cases since September 14, and 10 new deaths Monday.
There are 539 Kentuckians hospitalized with the virus, 161 in the ICU, and 82 on a ventilator.
