A home located on North McPherson Avenue in Hopkinsville was found badly damaged Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say electrical wiring was cut from underneath the home and some kind of chemical agent was used to damage the floors sometime between Monday and Wednesday morning.
The total cost of the damage is $8,400. No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as first-degree criminal mischief.
